Summary:
The Production employee - Upholstery Supply Person ensures all supplies on all upholstery lines stays stocked and staged for use on the upholstery lines.
Essential Functions:
Inspect raw materials prior to performing operations to ensure proper quality standards and alert the supervisor to any substandard raw materials or prior operations Using basic tools including but not limited to scissors, box cutter, etc.
to open supply containers.
Read, interpret, and understand production schedules to ensure accuracy of supplies being staged to production lines.
Load, push and pull supply buggies with weights up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Maintain 100% efficiency with tasks assigned and ensure production schedule is being met.
Work closely with other employees on the line to maintain a close team dynamic daily.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred At least two years' production line experience in a related industry preferred Preferred Education and Experience Previous experience in a similar role and related industry preferred Competencies Physical dexterity Technical Skills Ethical Conduct Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment This job operates in a manufacturing industrial setting.
The employee may be exposed to both indoors and outdoors with light to moderate exposure to sun, dirt, dust, pollen, odors, biological hazards, temperature and noise extremes, hazardous materials and chemicals, machinery, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and electric currents.

While performing the duties of this job, involves frequent standing, frequent walking, light to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.
), light carrying, frequent bending, reaching, and stooping.
Specific physical conditions require frequent work with chemicals, tools, machinery, moving mechanical parts, and risk of electrical shock.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position working typically 8 hours per shift but must have the ability to work past normal shift times as needed based on production and staffing needs.
Travel No travel is expected for this position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
