has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Operator A at our Tupelo/Verona, MS manufacturing plant.
This position is responsible for the following conducting quality inspections, assisting with clearing machine jams, correctly labeling rolls with shipping/stock labels, daily cleaning of machines, preventative maintenance and filling in on the production line when needed.

The successful candidate will be expected to assist with the production needs of the department.
The Operator A is also responsible for maintaining daily communication with department management, production personnel, maintenance, and plant management.
Additional responsibilities of the Operator A:
Operate powered industrial forklifts to pick up, move, or unload material in support of Fiber operations, as necessary, from production area and the loading docks.
Pull raw/finished materials from inventory/stock area and load into bale opener machines.
Properly label all fiber finished material for future use.
Operate a forklift in confined areas where other forklifts are operating and where employees are walking and working.
Follow the Fiber department layout plan for proper storage locations.
Able to read and completely understand the labeling process.
Perform daily housekeeping on equipment and surrounding work area.
Perform weekly/monthly inventory, as required by location.
Skills/ Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
Basic reading, writing and math skills.
Some manufacturing experience preferred.
On the job training provided.
Must be able to use computerized equipment in day to day operations and have computer knowledge.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays and call-in with little notice.
